Top Level Category not updating

I started a new budget and began editing categories to reflect current expenses. All top level categories updated as I entered new values in sub-categories until I reached Entertainment. The top level category did not update as I entered new values. Same problem occurred with subsequent categories. Attached a screen shot for reference.

Hi, Patrick:
This can be initially confusing as the Parent category amount can vary; it isn't always a sum of the subs. You can enter a different goal for the parent than the sub categories contained within. There are situations where this makes sense.
The order in which you enter things can alter the parent amount calculation. I would enter the desired goals for each category as desired.

Hmm, ok. Still not sure why it works with some categories, but not others. I'll start with the top level and see how it goes from there.
