why isn't the category "rent income" appearing when I enter rent income reminders?

I have Qucken Home business and rental property 2020.  When I enter rent income reminders there is no category.  How do I fix this?

Thanks for taking the time to post to our Community.

What specific Category are you trying to add to your Income Reminder? Have you created a new Category and it is not showing up?

To add Categories to a Reminder you would go to Tools > Manage Bills & Income Reminders > Add > Income Reminder

Choose the desired Payee in the "From" drop down menu then select Income Reminder > Next

Select Add category, tag, or memo

Click the arrow to the right of the Category: drop down > select Rental Property Income > you will see available categories. You also have the ability to select New Category and create your own.

Once you have chosen the correct category, select OK. You may finish up the remaining details of this reminder and select Done.
