Backup File Size

Good Morning,
Just recently totally reinstalled Quicken and did set up process, downloaded, etc., etc.
This was due to an update issue supposedly revealing a corrupted data file.
Now, with the newly installed Quicken, my backup files, not the actual data file, are severely truncated. Actual data file is about 185M but the backup process stops, on both a USB thumb and a hard drive, and its only about 7K in size. Anyone had this issue and , more importantly, what to do to make backups full sized? Thank You

During Backup, are you getting any error messages ... "Backup not created", "File in use", etc.?Do you use any cloud backup programs like MS OneDrive, Dropbox, etc.? If so, do make sure that your active is NOT being accessed by that backup program while Quicken is running.
If you haven't rebooted Windows since you installed the latest software update, please do so now and then try Quicken again.
Still not working?
Let's start with some "Troubleshooting 101" to ensure the Quicken software is installed and updated properly and that your data file is in good working order.
Failures during Backup are most likely caused by data file corruption.
Please perform all the steps in this document in the order specified:
