Paying Bills, Online Billers & Reminders (Windows)
Download Statements

I've established 5 Online Bills with reminders. I received the first notification that a new payment is due. I scheduled and processed the payment. So far so good. My question centers on the physical bill itself. Is there something additional I have to do to get a file copy (.pdf) of the bill? I noticed a column labeled .pdf in the Income and Reminders table - which is empty.

It generally takes a few days to a couple weeks (Citi is particularly slow for me). As long as you update bills regularly, most online billers will eventually provide a pdf of the bill. There is no notification when it downloads so you need to keep checking in the pdf window for the account.
I personally prefer to download the bill directly from the biller web site and store it separately. I usually get it quicker and it doesn't add to the external size of my Quicken data file. Unfortunately, there is not currently a way to avoid the routine pdf download and storage for Quicken online billers.

If you would like to be able to manage the storage of pdf bills by Quicken, you might consider voting for this suggested improvement.
