Merge banking accounts

I have imported old Quicken files into new subscription version and connected to bank accounts. This has created a new bank account in Quicken rather than merging with the existing file so that the balances (and several months of transactions) are duplicated. Can I merge these?

If you are still needing assistance, would you mind posting back to let us know what version/release of Quicken you're currently using? You can find this under Quicken>About Quicken. 

To answer your question about merging accounts, you can do so in Quicken for Mac by simply dragging transactions from one account and dropping them into the other account.
