Quicken will not save transactions

I cannot get any transactions to save whether entered manually, downloaded or via a Memorized Transaction (both using the disk icon and the Enter Key). Problem started at 9:15am today (8/24/2020) and continues this afternoon. Any idea why?

    Answer ✓
    This morning I used the File Validation utility which repaired the file and corrected the problem. Issue resolved.

    If you haven’t already, you may want to verify the register is sorted appropriately and there aren’t any unexpected filters being applied:  open the register, select the Date column header (you want the small triangle to right of Date to point up) and Reset.

    I have release R 28.18 installed and there are no filters against any of my accounts.
