Urgent - won't let me use Bill Manager

I have been a bill pay user for years. Now moving to Bill Manager. I have the accounts set up and verified in Quicken Desktop. I have entered bills including mortgage and car payments and credit cards. several due on Sept 1. I attempt to use PAY to schedule the payments but instead of it scheduling payment with bill manager I get the error message that Bill Pay can't pay after 31st. So is the bill to be paid or what??? Too little feedback in the system. Please confirm that my bills will be paid. Roy Blocher

    You should probably be using either Quick Pay or Check Pay.  Clicking Pay may be trying to process with the old billpay system.  Suggest you review the following:

    So you can confirm that if I use quickpay or check pay I will be using the new bill manager?

    I believe the link I referenced was titled Quicken Bill Manager.  The two primary headings were Instructions for Quick Pay and Instructions for Check Pay.
    What additional confirmation do you need?
    As far as the payments you attempted they appear to be referring to the old BillPay system.  As indicated by the error message, they will probably not be processed.

    And there is the problem. There is no feedback in the system as to what bill pay system is being implemented, nor is there a button to set in preferences that says, USE BILL MANAGER. So no matter what button I use I cannot tell what payment system is implemented. The instructions for Quick and Check Pay are interesting, but nowhere does it state that their use is strictly limited to Bill Manager.
