Cash transfer into investment account automatically buys shares, how to stop?

I have two 529 plan accounts. Once a month an automatic transfer occurs from checking into each account. One of the accounts shows the funds as a transfer in. A few days later it is invested. The other account creates a shares bought transaction based on an estimate of the share price that day. I don't seem to be able to get Quicken to stop this. This accounts shares balance is all messed up as the actual purchase occurs days later and downloading transactions won't reconcile properly.

Is that account set up as a single mutual fund account? That can not hold cash. If it is a SMF you should be able to edit the account and change it. There might be a yes or no box for Single Mutual Fund.
I'm staying on Quicken 2013 Premier for Windows.
