Can I edit a future scheduled transaction (to change the splits) but only for one time.

I don't need to do it for all the instances, just one future one.

Yes. Double click the reminder and click on the Mark as Paid text below the transaction (Not the Paid icon at the bottom toolbar.)

Edit the transaction/modify or add splits as needed. Hit return to save/post this transaction. Only that instance will be changed-the scheduled transaction template is left untouched.

The clock icon will work, but the double click on the gray schedule reminder in register will also do the same thing. Your choice.

Ok thanks. I had to go into the clock symbol on left-hand side though as Mark as Paid was not below the transaction.

Thanks - this is really helpful. It did take me a minute to figure out what the gray schedule reminder was, but I see it is the clock like circle at the left end of the entry.

It appears the "Mark as Paid" selection basically deletes the selected scheduled payment and replaces it with an identical manual entry which you can modify.
