Windows "Restore Down" button not working on Windows 10

The restore down button (2nd button on top R/H of title bar) is not working. it just reduces the program by a few mm's but won't go any smaller. With Windows 10, you should also be able to drag the program to the right of the screen and this reduces it to half the screen width so you can have 2 programs running side-by-side, but this doesn't happen either. I know this question has been asked before but just wondering if there is any update? Quicken Deluxe ver. R25.24 build 27.1.25.24

The recent version R29.12 Build 27.1.29.12 and Windows 10 version 2004 Build 19041.508 works just fine.

The minimize, maximize and restore buttons are features of Windows, they are not controlled by the program. If there is little difference between the maximize state and restore state, its because that's the way you left the window resized.
Click the restore button and then drag a corner towards the center of the Window to make it significantly smaller, then try maximize/restore again to see the difference.
To snap a window to the left or right side of the screen you must drag it far enough to get the snap effect. You will see a translucent outline of the window when you have it in the right position, that is when you should release the mouse button.
If you're having trouble with this, select the window and press the Windows Key + Right or Left arrow as a shortcut.
The up and down arrows are also shortcuts for minimize/maximize/restore, these are all Windows features too.Quicken 2017 Premier - Windows 10 Pro1 -
