Opened quicken checking account to find over two years worth of matching transactions in download listings. Why did this happen? Is there a way to clear downloaded matching transactions other than one at a time?

I would try restoring a recent backup before trying anything else.

Thanks to Splasher I was able to correct the problem in my Quicken file, much to my relief. I have delayed my response because I needed to find a time when I could give all my attention to the instructions given. Thanks for all the help.
