Do you recommend "Quicken for Windows 8th Edition – The Official Guide for Deluxe and Premier?"

A Quicken customer service rep recently told me that “Quicken for Windows 8th Edition [2018] The Official Guide for Deluxe and Premier,” by Bobbi Sandberg, was the most recent hard copy edition available. He said that paper back book offers any Quicken user the most up to date instructions and advice currently in hard copy form

Can you confirm that? Are there other hard copy guide sources besides this one?

The Quicken Community is good for users, but it takes a rookie like me hours to figure out where a concise answer might be found within the depth of the community, whereas the hard copy is considerably more focused.

While the circa 2018 hard copy book mentioned may be of some value, it is also somewhat out of date as of today. There have been significant updates to the QWin and QMac software since 2018.

There are literally thousands of pages of help/guides/tutorials/error resolution articles built into the Quicken software itself, and also available at https://www.quicken.com/support/search, and community.quicken.com is quite a valuable resource, and the official Quicken YouTube channel for videos. 
We are very actively updating/editing/add more content on a frequent basis.
