HELP? The DATE drop down menu in transaction list

My transactions jump from current month to a few random transactions from EARLIER months and NONE of the options for sort in DATE work. HELP, please.. corrupts the register balance. W-10 - Quicken 2019, Version 29.22 B 27.1.29.22

I suggest you open the register, select the Date column header (you want the small triangle to right of Date to point up) and Reset.

No little triangle but I did notice a small blue dot... clicked on it and YIPPEE it states 'Sort by Status' and everything is fine again. THANK YOU.

The little triangle will appear to the just right of Date when you click on Date:
