Reminder coming up when I enter a check

When I write a check and record it, the question comes up "Is this the payment for AMEX" (or some other payee) which is interesting because AMEX is paid from an entirely different account. Why does this happen and how do I get rid of it.

Hi @SherrySL,
The pop-up that you are seeing has to do with one of the "reminders" that you have created in Quicken. Sometimes they get out of synch and one way to deal with this issue is to just answer "no" and then review your reminders (by opening "Manage Bill and Income Reminders" from the "Tools" tab) and delete the one that is causing the problem. You should then add a new reminder for that transaction.
Let me know how that goes.
