Out of curiosity, why are some bill reminders red while others are not (Q Mac)

Some of my bill reminders are red while others are not.  This has been ongoing for quite some time. I figured I would ask if this is a UI issue or user error.  

Please see attachment and notice 2 bill reminders reflect the amount as red, while the others are not.

The bills that show as red are expenses. The ones that are black have transfers to other accounts associated with them.
