How to register Quicken 2013 without being directed to a Privacy setting issue?

Every time I wish to register my software a notice appears regarding connectivity or Internet explorer privacy settings. I have tried to folow without success so cannot proceed to register my quicken Delux 2013 software, please help!

To get around registration in QW2013, hold down the LEFT Shift & Ctrl when clicking on Tools->One Step Update

Quicken 2013 is an old version of Quicken that is no longer supported by Quicken, Inc. So there is really no reason for you to register it.

Let me know if you have any followups.

How did you install 2013? You also may need to update it. If you have an older version, One of the SuperUsers has posted the update patches for older versions (2000 and newer) of Quicken
