How to include refund in Pay check but should not be added to the Gross Income

An amount has been refunded which was withheld in an earlier paycheck. How can I enter an amount in the pay-slip but should not be added to Gross Income?

    Answer ✓
    Add it as a separate line (not part of the gross pay) and categorize it to the same category as you did the withdrawal.

    I'm staying on Quicken 2013 Premier for Windows.
