There are steps that you would take in Quicken Windows to prepare the data file (QDF) for conversion. Then, you transfer a copy of the QDF file to your Mac - via network, thumb drive, etc. Finally, in Quicken Mac, you use File > New and select "Start from a Quicken for Windows file" to begin the cloud conversion.
