having similar problem w/ First Citizens Bank, Direct Conn.
There appears to be a typo on !Q screen requiring you to CHANGE your bank password in Q before signing up for downloads. Q says BANK requires you to change password. Bank says not true. Then Q screen says new password can't be less than 4 characters. Or not more than 4 characters. Hmmm. Doesn't work. Bank requires more than 4!!

    Hello @pclough,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community to tell us about your issue, though I apologize that you are experiencing this.

Could you please provide which version of Quicken you have currently running?

If you haven't already, I suggest trying to connect First Citizens Bank, Direct Conn. via the Express Web Connect connection method instead. To do so, please follow the instructions below.
    1. On the First Citizens Bank, Direct Conn.'s login screen, click Advanced Options on the bottom left next to the Cancel button
    2. Select Express Web Connect and click Next
    3. Sign in using the same login credentials you would use to sign in on their Online Banking website and click Connect
Once that is done, it should automatically try to establish a connection without prompting you to change your password.

Let us know how it goes!
