    I wanted to propose a simple workaround to an issue, but was blocked. This issue is described in

    Can you help the community by updating the discussion?
    Here is how I address the issue:

    1) If the link was just created, I just “Edit > Undo Transaction” (Command-Z on a Mac)

    2) If the link is older, I just right-click “Duplicate Transaction”. I then set the original transaction to “Uncategorized” and accept the warning that the other end will be deleted. I then go to where the other end was, where I can right-click on the duplicate to also set it to “Uncategorized”, again accepting the warning. I can then recategorize both transactions.

    Quicken Anja,

    I appreciate your help with the disappearance of recurring Tax Estimates/Pmts, but I am disappointed in the follow-through regarding the "Everything Else" problem in Budget Reports. The latest entry there was back on 3/13/25, and the problem, very inconveniently, continues to exist….with no resolution worked out. Please update on this issue, and guide us on how to resolve/remove this very annoying and difficult to accommodate problem in the Budget Report!

    Anja, I wish the community.quicken.com/discussion/7966194/fidelity-transactions-still-not-downloading discussion hadn't been closed. I was able to restart my accounts downloading by creating a dummy Quicken file, linking it to all my Fidelity accounts (ten so far), then going back to my live Quicken file, unlinking and relinking one account, and checking all the accounts in the Fidelity authorization. That kicked all the accounts loose.

    Anja, why did you close the question about the problems Quicken was having with Fiduciary Trust International. I have two reasons: 1) the person who posed the question was incorrect about not being able to download from FTIC. I was able until February 2025. Frequent calls to FTIC led to dead ends. FTIC said to deal with Quicken. I only happened to see that I could download today 11/30/25 because I tried it by chance.

    2) Now that I get SOME transactions, I still don't have those from February 2025 and early September when my initial attempt ended. At that time, I ran into a series of "Split Ratio exceeds 1000:1" messages.

    3) Getting the transactions for the past year is going to be an issue because Quicken gives some cryptic instructions to upload CSV files (I can create them from PDF files I convert) but getting the File Importer to work is not straight forward.

    Can you please fix some of these issues soon?
