Is there anyway to have two windows open at the same time, for ex. Recatorize and Transactions?

What's the actual names of the windows that you're talking about. "Transactions" would be an account ...but what's "recategorize"? Do you mean the Category List, "Find/Replace" or what? Also, what Q product are you running and what BUILD of that product? Do HELP, About Quicken for this info.

Yes. Go to Edit > Preferences > Setup and un-check Automatically minimize pop-up windows.(PS to @NotACPA Recategorize is under Tools.)

@Rocket J Squirrel THX, I'd never noticed that before. It seems to be a specialized version of Find/Replace
