Release R30.21 Software Update Failure

Quicken completely closed, computer status:  just after reboot.

Message:  The process cannot access the file 'C:\ProgramData\Quicken\Inet\Common\patch\quickenPatch\w4947\base\ScreenShare\Quicken.Screenshare.exe' because it is being used by another process.

Update Fails.  Please provide guidance

    Try to download and install latest Mondo patch

    If still a problem, you may need to do a clean install. Let us know.

    update was tried 1/20 & 1/21.  1/21 after system reboot.  Both failures.

    I started quicken again after the failure on 1/21 and tried to update again - not doing anything to system or software - it updated.  Strange.

    Thanks for the quick response, but I am good to go at this time.

    At the time you ran one of the failed Quicken updates, did you also run a system-wide backup of your C:-drive, backing up all changed files to external drive or network server? That would explain the "in use" error. For example, my Norton software likes to run backup in the background whenever it sees fit during idle time ...
