In quicken the account shows a balance but displays "This loan is paid off"
Online the balance is 0.
What do I need to do to get the quicken to show a balance of 0? How do I keep from having quicken think it's paid off?
I understand there was an issue that has been resolved and that I may need to restore a backup to before this happened? Not sure I want to do that. Will have I have to got back and add transactions and reconcile, that would be multiple months I believe.
I think I'd rather just start over with that account. What would be the best way to do that?
Thanks for the help.

I'm guessing this is a loan Account where information was downloaded from the lender?
If that's the case AND the pay down entries show properly in your checking Account, then I wouldn't even try to "zero out" the Account. You should, I'd think, be able to Close the Account along with clicking all the "hide" options. That should remove the Account altogether, taking it off your balance sheet, Account Bar, etc.
