Made a mistake! I want to switch my 2021 budget from historical data to last year's budget.

Hi, I wanted to create a budget for 2021. I have an existing 2020 budget. I clicked the arrow in the "edit budget" window to advance the year. Quicken asked me if I want to use last year's budget or historical data. I chose the wrong option. I exited without saving, thinking that would undo it. However, whenever I go back into budget now, it doesn't give me the option to choose, instead just defaulting to historical data. Any suggestions on how I can redo that?

    Hi, Taggart77:

No, once the new year has been created, it is there for good.

Do you have backups or use Time Machine? That would be the easiest way to go back.

Yes, you could create a new budget, but I really don't think that would be more work as you would still have to enter in the actuals. Plus, you wouldn't have the older years for reference.
