Installing and Updating (Windows)
Is it possible to install an additional Quicken file on the computer that already has one?
Mirriam
I have Quicken of my own, and a friend has asked me to help maintain hers. Can I install hers on my computer separately from my own?

You can have as many Quicken data files as you want on your machine. Just copy the data file (*.QDF) file to your machine and double click on it to open it.
After you have Quicken open you can switch between the two by selecting the data file name at the bottom of the File menu.

P.S. Her data file will be connected to her Quicken Id account. You will have to connect it to your Quicken Id account when you open it, by selecting the link to sign in with a different Quicken Id account
