Click on the date header.  That will sort the transactions by date.  Clicking it again reverses the order.

What are you importing from @Leganit ? What type of accounts are you trying to import them to cash, credit card, investment accounts. There are some limitations that may have an impact depending on what you are doing. Bit surprising you are trying to import QIF files if you are new to Quicken?

I'm not following what you said here.  What kind of errors are you getting for the QIF import?

Also what is the financial institution?

Note that a QFX import error of OL-221-A is either because the financial institution isn't a "participating partner" or there is a syntax error in the QFX file.  Generating a QFX file isn't sufficient, the financial institution has to also have an "agreement" with Intuit (Quicken Inc pays Intuit for the service).

OK so not a US financial institution, and as such not on the list of participating financial institutions.  So Quicken is certain to reject that QFX file with exactly the error message you got.

And I will take a wild guess at why your QIF file might not import.  Quicken US/Canadian require the Date format to be in the US format like MM/DD/YYYY.

I suggest you look at using my program:
QuicknPerlWiz - Use ImportQIF to import transactions into Quicken

For the QIF file if it is the Date format you can used the "Non US Date" option on the Setup tab to fix it.  If that doesn't do it and you can get the transactions in either Excel or CSV format you can use the program to convert them to QIF format for importing.
Note that importing of QIF files into Quicken Subscription puts the transactions into the register without any processing.  That means:
    1. Will not match existing transactions entered into the register.
    2. Will not use renaming rules (use Map Payee option in ImportQIF)
    3. Will not use memorized payees to assign categories (use Map Categories in ImportQIF)

P.S.  Now that I think of it, you can also feed in the QFX to ImportQIF and have it convert it to QIF, which would be easier than using a Excel/CSV file (no column mapping needed) and it wouldn't have the date format problem because QFX/OFX files have the dates in a standardized format.

Are the dates right, but just not in the format that you would like to see?
If so, the date format shown in the register is controlled by the Windows short date format.
