Bulk edit categories that are in splits in several transactions?

Question

Is there a way to bulk edit a category that is in splits in several transactions?  Can you find all of the transactions with X category, select all of them, then open all of the transactions at the same time on the same screen to expose all of the splits?  That would allow me to select the splits with category X and change them to something else.  Failing that, can you make Quickfill Rules apply to existing transactions?  Thanks in advance for any help.

No, you cannot batch change items (including categories) in a split. They will have to be done individually..

I don't know if this will pertain in your particular case, but you can change a category in the Category list, and this will change it everywhere it is used in your data file (including splits). But, I don't know if changing a category globally is what you wish to do.
