i have the one time USAA login and password .. Quicken does not allow me to add "action" to add.

    Are the accounts setup for Direct Connect (not Express Web Connect)?

    If not go to the Account Details -> Online Service tab and there should be a link for "Improve this connection..." click on that.

    type of connection is not an option at this point just trying to set up online services ... long time quicken user (over 20 years). that option is not available because the connection was lost when USAA converted .. some of my usaa account pull in fine other It seems i dont have an option

    So I take it that you already ran through the conversion to USAA's new "security" system for some of the accounts, but not for all.  Is the reason you didn't do the others because they didn't show up in the list of online accounts?

    There have been reports that USAA isn't sending a full list of accounts.  People have for instance reported that their checking account shows up, but not their savings account.

    yup ... everything set up fine with new user / id pin ... quicken does not give an option to select accounts when I go to "setup up online" is there not a phone number for quicken support?

    Here is the link for Quicken support, be sure not to have popup blocking on since it is a pop up.  There is both chat and a phone number, you can also find a number in your Quicken.com account.

    I fixed ... I used web connect, not sure that made a difference
    I deactivated all of my USAA accounts that were working correctly after the change and for whatever reason I was able to reconnect the accounts that did not activate the first time

    Since USAA don't have "Web Connect" which is to say downloading of a QFX file, then I'm guessing you switched to Express Web Connect.  Express Web Connect isn't as reliable as Direct Connect, so you might have more problems down the road.

    ok ... well maybe that is what is was .. I did not like the options offered with Direct Connect right now ... so may be web connect direct
  • I am on direct connect but I cannot get a consistent connection. I have to delete the accounts and add them every time
