@carzinc You can right click the account, choose Edit/Delete, Delete Account option at bottom.

However, before you do that, please remember: When you delete an account register, all transactions in that account register will also be deleted. Is that really what you want to do?
If all you need to do is to resolve a transaction download problem, most all the time all that you need to do is to deactivate the account register and then reactivate it.
