How do I delete an improperly entered placeholder on an investment account.

Question

Attempted to enter a change to a share balance.  My entry was not correct and now I need to remove the placeholder entry that was created.  Cannot find a process in help to accomplish this.

First, make sure the Placeholders are visible by going to Edit > Preferences > Investment transactions and making sure Show hidden transactions is checked.

Then locate the Placeholder you want to delete. Click once to select it then hit the Delete button at the bottom right of the transaction.
