Balance is Missing in the Account Register (Quicken for Mac)

My account is sorted by date; No filters are selected and the Search field is blank; The Transactions view of the register is selected; There is only an individual account selected; and my balance is still missing.

    Is the entire Balance column missing? If so, click menu View > Columns to restore it.
