How do I close an equity account? (Q Mac)
Eegee
I liquidated this account many years ago but it was not noted at the time and now I need it gone so it doesn't show up in reports.

What assets does it show un the account. If you have one or more securities with any shares showing up, you'll need to make them go away. You can use a Remove Shares transaction, and back-date it to whenever in the past you wish. Once all securities in the account have zero shares, and the cash balance is zero, you can mark the account to be Closed and Hidden in Accounts > Hide and Show Accounts.
