How to change a stock name after company re-brands
venny
I've looked on Q help and don't see how to change the name of a company/stock after they've re-branded.

If ALL that changed was the name, just EDIT the security and change it. CTRL-Y, click on the security name and click the EDIT button to the far right.

Through the Enter Transactions button, there is a "Corporate Name Change" selection. It will make the name change and enter a Reminder transaction telling you when that happened.
Or you can simply edit the Name of the security and create your own reminder if you choose too. Same effect.

I didn't think that Corp Name Change was available in all product levels ... and the OP didn't specify which Q product is being run.

. I believe it comes with anything that supports investments — Deluxe or higher.
