They say to go into my account, export my CU accounts into a Quicken format (.QFX) file and then import that file into my Quicken. When I try this, it says that that it can not complete the action, error code OL-221A and at the bottom of the box, there is the code OL-221B. They ( the CU) say that it is correct and it is Quicken' s problem. Any ideas as to what is wrong?

Hello @nickhayduke5402
Thank you for visiting the Community to ask your question although I apologize that you have not received a response.
I have taken a look at the bank list and see a OneAZ Credit Union-New option. This option lists additional connection methods.
If you have not done so already, I would recommend adding a new account and signing in. Once you have successfully signed in, you should be able to LINK this account to your existing account in Quicken.
Please let me know how it goes!

I tried your advice. Yes, I could create a new account, but it was devoid of all my data collected in the old account name, which is a ten plus years of history. I also could not use the account update feature , there is no accounts named for the now four OneAZ situation. Any ideas? I have deleted the two new and useless accounts, so my history is complete and correct.
Thank you,
P.S. replying to your email does not work. It appears that I can only communicate in this manner.0 -

but, since the bank info was totally different - then you probably were not offered that option...
SO - then the NEXT STEP would have been
to copy over all of your existing history transactions from the old accounts into the new accounts. Here are the 2 entries - with the NEW one now offerering all 3 Quicken download methods.68304 68304 68304 OneAZ CU https://www.oneazcu.com/ 8446632928 https://online.oneazcreditunion.com/registration ACTIVE

Thank you for your comment. Yes, I made the new account. Yes, I exported the old account to a .QFX file. Yes, I imported that information. I then updated the new account with the file, downloaded from the CU. All the data was fine. I ran the all account update, the CU did not show in the list, so there was no download. I went to the account, it says the account is ready to be set up for download. If I start following these directions, it asks me to set up another account. The circle continues. Any thoughts?
Thanks-1 -
FWIW, I have the same issue. According to the CU rep that I spoke to today, they're still working on fixing the Quicken download. There was no ETA on when the issue would be resolved. The CU was using Direct Connect prior to the online update, and they are now using Express Web Connect. In the interim, I deactivated the online setup in the existing Quicken account, exported a qfx file from the CU, and imported into Quicken. It gave me the option to link the transactions to an existing account, and I was able to update the account. According to the CU rep, they are attempting to the make the download changes in the background so that it is seamless to the user. I expect it'll be a few more days before all the issues are sorted out.-1

Thank you for the information. I will deactivate the update function and wait for a week or so.
Thanks again.0 -
Just a commnet on playing with QFX files..... which is different than COPYING from one account to another. The bank/CU download, or any QFX file, has the related Quicken defined 5-digit bank number as is shown in above postings, -
and appears to be different between the two AZ entries.... as posted above -
If you open your QFX file with Notepad, it's just text - you can search and find the Quicken FID number embedded.
Here is an example from my ALLY Bank downloaded QFX file.<FI>

I am having the same general problem, but I am not seeing the "oneaz credit union-new" option when I try and add a new account. What could be going on for me?0 -
To Ps56k2: Took a look at both of my OneAZ accounts, the numbers you speak of were the same in all four locations of the two accounts. I appreciate the information, but it appears this is not a fix for me.
To Ricky: I agree with you, the "OneAZ new account does not show up for me. It disappeared after the repeated attempts to set up a new account. I have tried the suggestions here and have created NEW accounts multiple times. They all seen to either not work at all or go into a web connect mode, which now appears not to work in Quicken. I will return to the waiting pattern and let OneAZ/Quicken determine what needs to be done.0 -
Looks like OneAZ is making changes - daily - in the Quicken config files.... today June 16, is using a file dated June 10 -I just tried to Add Account for OneAZ - and agree - there is now only 1 entry listed as available - for WEB CONNECT -
So... they tried to support Quicken One Step Update - but then took it away, and is now only manual web downloading.68304 68304 68304 OneAZ CU https://www.oneazcu.com/ 8446632928 https://online.oneazcreditunion.com/registration ACTIVE

Thanks for the update and conformation, that I am not going crazy. I can understand the desire of the credit union to change their methods of downloading and account information, for the sake of security. It is just unfortunate that the end users must be the error detection resource for them. I do thank you for the update and will continue my wait to see if their system can be corrected.
Thanks again.0 -

1 - Add the OneAZ account
2 - Manually download transactions from their online website
3 - Import that downloaded file into Quicken

I tried what you said. Yes, the export was successful, it appears that the download was imported correctly, although, it may be a few days before I can verify as there is no data change to check against the imported data. Lastly, it does not appear in my "one step update" group and when I check the account details, it states that a connect method is available but it wants to be set up, again. If this is as good as it gets, it will be easier to return to using paper statements.
Thank you for your effort.0 -
FYI - from the lastest Quicken FIDIR config file - dated for tomorrow - 6/19/21 -
still just showing Web-Connect - manual downloading from the CU online website and Importing into Quicken68304 68304 68304 OneAZ CU https://www.oneazcu.com/ 8446632928 https://online.oneazcreditunion.com/registration ACTIVE

It appears that the issue is resolved. I imported a qfx file, and there was a prompt in Quicken to setup One step update for the credit union. The process was straightforward, and I was able to link to my existing account in Quicken. Kudos to everyone involved in getting the issue sorted out.0

Well, I will agree that this is different. I did my downloads, from the CU, opened Quicken, started the import, and up to this point, it appeared to be going correctly. I entered my ID and password, first time, and then it stated that there was an error. Got to love the disclaimer: "Not your fault". Tried again, and it went to the set up a new account screen. Tried the third time and the CU wanted a validation code, through my Quicken program, Got the code, entered it and the program again asked me to get a validation code. Needless to say, this is not working for me. I will wait until the next work week and try again. It seems to be moving in a positive direction. Thank you.0

Back again with the continuing saga of my CU and Quicken. The downloads and Quicken update started working about 6 weeks ago. Life is good....Right. About a week ago, my saving account is still downloading and updating correctly but suddenly, my loan is shown as paid. I checked and Quicken seems to think I have only one account not two and the loan is closed and there is no way to see any of the former transactions. The reconcile flag is set and I can not reconcile or make any entries. Has anyone else seen this problem? If so, what can we do?0

I have had the same issue for months with my credit union. I was able to manually download the qfx file and update the acct in Quicken until I installed the latest version of quicken, now again I am getting Error OL-221A with note on bottom of screen of OL-221B. Now even the qfx files arent working0
-
Thanks for the reassurance that I am not going crazy. Hopefully, the coders will figure out what the problem is and correct it.0

Just following along here..... this topic thread was originally specific to OneAZ Credit Union -
So, if posting, please also list... your version .... Help --> About Quickenand which of the TWO OneAZ entries you are using for your Quicken Account setup
and if you are using One Step Update - or - manually downloading for Quicken Importing...
It looks like OneAZ added a download feature since my previous June posting...68304 68304 68304 OneAZ CU https://www.oneazcu.com/ 8446632928 https://online.oneazcreditunion.com/registration ACTIVE

Quicken version R34.24, Build 27.1.24.34, Windows 10, Pro 64 bit. I am using web connect and according to Quicken I have only one account at OneAZ. I I was using web connect and updating the TWO accounts I have at OneAZ. I am not a business so I am using the OneAZ client path not the One AZ business path, until three Quicken update ago. Now I have Quicken updating one account and ignoring the other (loan). I just noticed that the loan details now say there is an update on the connection method. I will try this tomorrow (Monday) as there is no help available at this time.0

Here is the update from this morning exercise in futility. Clicked on the improve connection, from the Quicken accounts. Followed the prompts, it did find the loan account. Continued to follow the prompts, it said it was finished and I ran the one step update. It updated the accounts, Ha! savings was updated and so was the loan. Savings is correct but now the loan is closed, stating it is paid, strange as I have a +$7000.00 stilled owed. It closed all the data in the loan account and I can not see or review any of the past information in my Quicken loan account. The only data is "Loan is paid"! Unfortunately OneAZ still shows two accounts, and by their records, I still owe the monies to them. Any clues to the mystery?0
