Citi Advantage Re-Occuring Issues on downloading transactions

Using Quicken 6.2.1 I have a reoccurring problem (past few months) that I get PARTIAL DOWNLOAD error message on this credit card account every week or so. Or it just plain misses transactions. To fix it I have been using the RESET CONNECTION button, which fixes it every time. I'm trying to understand why this happens so often to me. I use the DIRECT CONNECT option, as well.

    Hello @jeff.krask

Thank you for reaching out to the Community regarding your issue, although I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues with your download. It sounds like the connection may be occasionally breaking which could be why it works after you've reset it again. One thing you can attempt is to completely reset the connecting by deactivating the account then reactivating through the add account section. This treats it as a brand new and pulls new authentications instead of using the one you're currently on if you were to do a normal deactivate/reactivate. I'll leave steps down below on how to do so.

First we'll try deactivating all of the accounts for the affected FI. You can do so by following the article listed down below.

    https://www.quicken.com/support/deactivate-online-banking-services-quicken-account

Once all the accounts are deactivated go ahead and follow the article here on reconnecting the accounts.

    https://help.quicken.com/display/MAC/Setting+up+accounts

Note you'll want to make sure you click options and select direct connect when reconnecting.

You don't need to do these steps if you don't want to but if you'd like to attempt to see if that might help it may take time to see if it does resolve the issue. In any case let us know how it goes!

    Thanks,

    Quicken Francisco
