Help deciding on which version of Quicken

When my Deluxe subscription is ready to expire, I'm wondering if I'd be better off going with Starter Edition. Does Starter Edition get it's own set of version updates that do not include features on Deluxe that can go bad? I can work with just Starter, if on fact the Starter actually logs fewer issues and problems that the other versions. It would be worth $4 to me to have fewer headaches with issues and problems. If Starter doesn't need an update to fix a problem it doesn't have because of fewer features, that's a big plus to me. Are theer any stats that starter is cleaner because of fewer features?
