Transfer to an Investment Transaction Issue

My downloaded transactions that don't automatically get assigned to a category are created as a "transfer to an investment transaction". This is completely wrong, and requires additional steps for me to re-categorize to the correct category. Why is this happening, and how do I stop it from happening, every time I download transactions?

under 'tools', look at the memorized Payee list. is the Payee listed in here and what category is assigned t this Payee? suggest deleting that payee. you may still have to re-categorize...how is Q otherwise going to know what you want to use?
