Is there a way to update new items only. My previous manual entries or opening balances are wiped away when I do an update This doesn't always happen, just on certain accounts.

    Hello @SCHIN

Thank you for reaching out to Quicken Community. I apologize that you are having this issue. By default when you run a One Step Update (OSU), your accounts will be updated with the most current cleared transactions. The only exception would be is if you are adding the account as new or resetting it. In those instances, transactions from the last 87-90 days will be downloaded.

From the information given it seems that there is a discrepancy. Would you be able to tell me what type of account this is occurring? (checking, savings, credit cards, investments). Do you ever get any error codes/messages?

Once more information is provided we can move forward with diagnosing the issue.
