Can't import qfx data to right account

When I import new web connect data (qfx), for example, my checking account data, Quicken won't let me link it to that account. It wants me to add it as a new account or link it to a different account, in this case my savings account. Anyone had this problem? Or more importantly, anyone fixed this problem?

Hello @leehunt,
Thank you for reaching out to Quicken Community. I apologize you are having difficulties importing your transactions. While this is odd behaviour, I would recommend disconnecting the account, then importing the QFX file and finally reconnecting the account again. Also, make sure that the account is not hidden or kept separate.
For instructions on deactivating an account click here.
To import a QFX file select File >Import >Bank or Brokerage File (QFX) >QFX file >Open. Afterwards, it should prompt you to link to the correct account.
Please let us know how it goes!
