Quicken freezes when recording dividend reinvestment transactions [edited title for clarity]

When I try to manually add shares for a certain dividend reinvestment, Quicken freezes. Manually adding shares for other dividend reinvestments works ok. Potential solutions?

    If you haven't rebooted Windows since you installed the latest software update, please do so now and then try Quicken again.
