How to Properly Record (Name)Transactions
Dangerruss
I pay my credit cards off via autopay from my checking account.
In my checking account it is a debit. Should I label this transaction as a transfer in to my credit card account name/number? (This would be an expense?)

Thanks in advance for any help.

It really doesn't matter, it is more about what makes sense to you. I call mine something like "Chase payment" or "JCPenney payment" and for me, it makes sense in both accounts.

And the transfer transaction is neither an expense or income. It is just a Transfer from checking to credit card Accounts. The expenses are when you enter the individual charges into the credit card account. Hopefully you are entering them the proper way.
