When you close Quicken it used to do sync and backup. Now it dosn't.

Everytime you closed Quicken it would do sync and about the third or fourth time it would do backup.

    You should take a look at your "Preferences" and specifically those for "Backup"

    Go to: "Edit" > "Preferences" > "Backup"

    Then adjust your settings for "Automatic Backups" and "Manual Backup Reminders"

    Here's a Snip of those settings:
