Select your Citibank credit card account in Quicken, Click on the gear and select Edit Account Details. Select the online services tab. You should see a message to upgrade to Direct Connect by going to https://citi.com/datamanagement. If you do, open a browser and log into your Citi account. When you agree to Citi's terms, it will tell you that you have a limited time to log into your other app (Quicken). Go back to Quicken and attempt to update the Citi account. It should step you through the process of changing to Direct Connect.0

Just started have CC-502 with Citi. It coincided with my adding 2-factor authentication to Citi login. Out of desperation I turn 2-factor off on the citi site. Connection & download worked. I did it because Quicken updates did not ask for 2-factor. You might ask if those with CC-502 problems have turned on 2-factor. Just a shot in the dark.0 -
I was constantly getting the CC-502 error with Citcard for almost 1/2 month. the link was to Citibank which used Express Web Connect. what I did that fixed the problem was to deactivate the a/c and then add Citi Cards and link it to the a/c in Quicken Citi Cards uses Direct Connect. I have not had a problem since. when you do this duplicate transactions will be downloaded.0
