The latest Quicken for Windows release R36.17 is now being made available in staged release format to a limited number of users.

What's included:

Improvements

We are updating our connectivity with financial institutions to improve the speed, security, and reliability of downloading transactions. This includes improvements to the process for adding investment accounts.

What's Fixed

An issue in which Quicken crashed when deleting the last account in a synchronized data file.

The release of R36.17 has been paused and is no longer available for download directly within Quicken.

If you would like to install this release, without waiting for it to be released live for all users, please download and install the Mondo Patch, available here.

Quicken for Windows (US) R36.23 is now being made available in a staged release format to a limited number of users.

What's Fixed

Issues with categories appearing for new retail users.
An issue in which some investment accounts that had been converted from Simple Investing to Complete Investing were converted back to Simple Investing due to a preference change.

This release is currently paused, however, if you would like to install the R36.23 update before it made available to all users, please download and install the Mondo Patch available here.

UPDATE 11/01/21

R36.38 (HF3) is now available for all users to install.

What's Included:

Improvements

We’re updating the infrastructure used to connect Quicken to financial institutions, making it more secure and reliable. This is part of a long-term rollout that started in the last release. We have updated the connection infrastructure to Charles Schwab. Customers with Charles Schwab should update now to continue downloading transactions. You will need this version to take advantage of this new connection. The old Charles Schwab connection will be discontinued, so you should upgrade immediately.

What's Fixed

An issue in which bills that were in the Awaiting next bill status were not shown on the Bills dashboard.

UPDATE 11/22/21

R36.41 (HF4) is now available.

What's Included:

What's Fixed

A few internal bug fixes and improvements.
We’ve updated the error message for the OL-301 error to be read as, “ Your financial institution now has a more secure connection method. You will use a bank hosted sign-in form to authorize downloads. To continue downloading your transactions in Quicken, you need to migrate now by selecting the 'Reauthorize' button."
Issues with downloading bond/sells from Charles Schwab have been fixed.
Issues with syncing IRA investing accounts has been fixed.

An issue in which, for Charles Schwab users with multiple accounts, in unusual circumstances some transactions could be downloaded to the incorrect account. Note: customers who experienced this issue can correct previously downloaded transactions using “Move Transactions” from the gear menu for the investment register.
