I tried searching to find out about Scheduled Transactions. I'd like to know what, when, where, why, and how. If there's still problems with splits using it ... I'll pass. I'd like to use it to help categorize our SSA checks??? I can't find a lot of info on it in support.

Quicken changed the term Scheduled Transaction to Reminder years ago. Personally, I thought Scheduled Transaction was far more descriptive, but they didn't ask me.
In Quicken Help, open the global search and type "About reminders". In the resulting list, you'll get a link to "About reminders [Product Help]". Go there.

This article discusses details about setting up Reminders for Soc Sec deposits and includes an example of the Split Transactions details which I use for my Soc Sec deposit.
