I would suggest you undo the change.
AFAIK, Quicken uses the setting of the Windows Short Date to display dates in registers and elsewhere.
If you're using something other than the US default setting for the Short Date, M/d/yyyy or MM/d/yyyy, Quicken may behave unexpectedly with respect to entering or displaying dates and using date keyboard shortcuts.
