Backup laptop data from mobile
bwschaar
My laptop died - and got a new laptop. Thank goodness Quicken Mobile still works! Any way, suggestions, to restart Quicken PC with data from Quicken Mobile?

Nope. Your mobile/web app is a small subset of your full Quicken data.
So...there is no way to restore or transfer the mobile data to your desktop product.
As an aside, that's why we all recommend backing up your data file to an exterior drive...and better to use a cloud based drive since it will always be there. Dropbox or OneDrive are great examples of cloud based drives that you can BACKUP to. Note...you should not have your actual working data file on a cloud based drive. It should always be on your local hard drive. But as you've learned the hard way, having your only backups there is fraught with peril.

Hello
@bwschaar
,
Thank you for reaching out to the Quicken Community. I apologize you are having this issue. Unfortunately, there is no way to restore a file from a mobile device or Quicken on the web. To clarify the Quicken cloud does not store any files. If you have an available backup on an external hard drive you can use that to restore it in your Quicken program. However, if one is not available it would be best to start a new/scratch file.
Pardon the inconvenience, but please let us know if you need assistance setting-up your new file or if you come across any errors.
