without re typing it. did I lose this Quicken feature?

    The feature is there, it's just implemented strangely. In the Find dialog, un-check "Find in 'Any field' by default". Then close the Find dialog. The next time you highlight a field and invoke Find, it should populate as you wish.

    Quicken user since version 2 for DOS, now using QWin Premier (US) on Win10 Pro.
