quick fill (Q Mac)

a couple updates ago the program said it would auto quick fill previous entry and I realized that I now have to unclick save quick fill for category and splits before accepting. I would like to not have the quick fill and split unless I click it instead of the other way. I've gone into quick fill and addressed the couple problem ones but the choices are lock or use explicitly, not a choice to NOT fill. Any suggestions?
