Schwab and Direct Connect and OFX

I didn't have too much trouble getting Schwab to work again after the recent changes, but I can no longer find "Direct Connect".
Is "Direct Connect" no longer available for Schwab? Is it coming back?
Is Quicken still using OFX to access Schwab through Express Web Connect?

I can't answer all these questions because Quicken Inc isn't telling anyone everything, but I can say that Direct Connect is definitely being dropped by Charles Schwab and isn't coming back. It is being replaced with what they are calling Express Web Connect + (Plus). This is their newest protocol, which like the original Express Web Connect they have only given vague descriptions of.

I see no sign of this "+"... have they just made this change without changing the connection name?
I looked around but don't see any description of the "+". Is there a description somewhere?

The "+" should show up in the "Connection Method" in the Accounts Details -> Online Services tab.
I don't have accounts that use this method of connection so I can't show an example, but I have seen others post screenshots of it.
